Chitral Youth Forum runs Ration drive for Chitrali Community in the twin cities

Chitral Youth Forum is helping the daily wagers of Chitrali community residing in the twin cities by providing them food items during the pandemic. The global COVID-19 situation has affected every business so badly and economies are downsized. This has created exasperation for daily wagers.

Different communities, NGOs, and government bodies are working to provide food items and household materials to the daily wagers. Chitral Youth Forum also contributing to the efforts are collecting the data of the daily wager Chitrali community living in the twin cities.

The Pendamic has raised more than 1,200,000 cases all over the world, with 2,880 cases being reported in Pakistan as of 5-April-2020.

Chitral Youth Forum(CYF) is thankful to all the Chitrali families for coping with COVID-19 so well and staying at home all the time. This has been a hard time for all of us and especially the daily wage earners.
CYF is giving out monthly ration to all the Chitrali families living in Islamabad and Rawalpindi who have been unable to earn daily wage due to lockdown. The family will be given a monthly ration pack of necessity items including rice, flour, pulses, toiletries, and other daily used items.

Chitral Youth Forum is a youth-led organization working in the twin cities (Rawalpindi-Islamabad) with the professionals, for the upliftment of the Chitrali community. The basic function of CYF is to support Education, Health, Sports, and Culture. Some of the success stories of CYF are:

  1. Supporting needy students financially to cover up their educational expenses.
  2. Arranged Educational Expo
  3. Arranged two mega cultural events
  4. Blood Arrangement on need.

These services are being provided in the twin cities.
